Who is Elena Kimball?​

Elena Kimball is widely recognized as one of the top creative voices in the audio industry.  She has created and voiced radio and TV commercials for numerous global brands including Verizon, Live Nation, and Old Navy, and is a four-time finalist for the Radio Mercury Awards (equivalent to "Emmy" nominations in the audio advertising industry), with two nominations for 2025.  Elena is currently focused on voice over opportunities in commercial, audiobook narration, and animation.  

 

Elena earned a bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre and Radio from Columbia College Chicago.  After graduation, Elena began her career producing radio shows for WGN-AM in Chicago and Carson Daly in Los Angeles. She then transitioned to become a voice over talent as well as a commercial producer.   As a commercial producer, Elena won the Silver Award for Audio Commercial of the Year from The One Club for Creativity San Diego and was named a finalist for two Radio Mercury Awards for commercial radio production. 

 

As a voice over artist, Elena has voiced thousands of commercials for household names, as well as the award-winning national LGBTQ+ radio station Channel Q.  She is experienced in corporate and industrial training, e-learning and IVR voice over, and has also narrated multiple audiobooks.  Elena is currently working to further expand her voice over knowledge and skillset in the animation industry via training with Melique Berger.
